Emergency Information

In case you are experiencing any of the symptoms, you should not go to your doctor or to the emergency room, to avoid any potential contamination, but you are kindly asked to call the French National Public Health Organization so they can evaluate if your condition requires further investigation regarding the Covid-19.

Travel information

Vehicle transportation

  • No Restrictions.
  • Drivers tend to accept only 2 passengers for sedan vehicles.
  • Drivers have the right to refuse access to the vehicle without fear of being penalized.
  • It is obliged by law to wear masks by government authorities for both drivers and passengers.
  • Sitting on the front seat is not allowed within the vehicle.

Attractions and public transportation

Major Attractions

  • Eiffel Tower remains closed until further notice to be in line with the government measures.
  • Disneyland Paris remains closed until further notice to be in line with the government measures.
  • Louvre Museum will reopen on July 6th, 2020. The Carrousel Garden and Tuilleries Garden are open.
  • Versailles Palace, museum and Estate are closed. The Palace will reopen on June 6th, 2020.
  • Orsay Museum will reopen on June 23rd, 2020.

Other Restrictions

  • Borders Closed until 15/06, except if you have French nationality, you can cross the border From Spain to France.
  • Only 2 terminals open at CDG for domestic flights.
  • Temporary border checks at the land borders with Germany, Switzerland, Spain, Belgium.

General Safety and Health Information

  • To reduce the risk of COVID-19 transmission, travellers are advised to abide by the following measures: frequently clean hands by applying an alcohol-based hand rub or washing with soap and water.
  • When coughing and sneezing, cover the mouth and nose with a flexed elbow or tissue; if used, throw the tissue away immediately and wash hands.
  • If experiencing a fever, cough, difficulty breathing, or any other symptoms suggestive of respiratory illness, including pneumonia, call emergency services before going to the doctor or hospital to prevent the potential spread of the virus.
