Emergency Information

In case you are experiencing any of the symptoms, you should not go to your doctor or to the emergency room, to avoid any potential contamination, but you are kindly asked to call the Public Health Organization so they can evaluate if your condition requires further investigation regarding the Covid-19.

Travel information

Vehicle transportation

  • Only 1 passenger allowed per Sedan vehicle
  • 2 passengers per Sedan vehicle are allowed if they are from same family
  • 4 passengers allowed per Minivan

Attractions and public transportation

  • Major Attractions (safety protocols are expected to be in place)

  • From June 1st, 2020, museums, monuments, theatres and restaurants (upon reservation) can open their doors and terraces again.
  • Public transportation works following the normal timetable but with lower capacity.
  • Travel from & to non-Schengen areas is closed for all non-essential visit.
  • Travel between Schengen countries is allowed but restrictions from specific countries may apply.

Other Restrictions

  • Mandatory health declaration for passengers of flights from high-risk areas.
  • Everyone arriving in the Netherlands from a high-risk area is strongly advised to self-quarantine for 14 days.

General Safety and Health Information

  • To reduce the risk of COVID-19 transmission, travellers are advised to abide by the following measures: frequently clean hands by applying an alcohol-based hand rub or washing with soap and water.
  • When coughing and sneezing, cover the mouth and nose with a flexed elbow or tissue; if used, throw the tissue away immediately and wash hands.
  • If experiencing a fever, cough, difficulty breathing, or any other symptoms suggestive of respiratory illness, including pneumonia, call emergency services before going to the doctor or hospital to prevent the potential spread of the virus.
